I am going to post--soon--something about the the first-person pronouns me, myself, and I. For now, here is something I came across in a major broadsheet. The writer incorrectly used the reflexive pronoun myself. You may want to enlighten my readers. Feel free to leave your comments explaining why the pronoun is wrong. Thanks!

it should be I. it was used as one of the doer of the action "discovered", right? "I, myself" is also possible to use; myself could emphasize the I, right?
KC,
You are absolutely correct! The pronoun should have been in the subjective case (doer, subject). You are also right about "myself" being used for emphasis.
